ABOUT ME
Chloe Dykstra, born and raised in Los Angeles, has worked in the film/television/digital media industry for over 15 years. She began her journey both hosting and producing for dozens of digital media platforms (Warner Bros Digital, Discovery Networks, Facebook, AMC) before finding her calling in film. Since 2022, Chloe has produced more than ten award-winning short films, numerous music videos, and a feature, Free LSD, that headlined Slamdance.
How To, a horror short Chloe wrote and directed, premiered at ScreamFest in October 2023, and procured her a “Best First Time Director” and “Best Dark Comedy Short” at the Independent Shorts Award. It also went on to win the Audience Award at Midsummer Scream.
In January 2024, Chloe put on the first LaikaFest (named for her dog, Laika), a film event featuring women-created genre shorts. She’s is thrilled to be continuing the LaikaFest tradition this coming January.
